There are three things that will not be satisfied...the barren womb, Earth that is never satisfied with water,
and fire that never says, "Enough." --Proverbs 30:16
So here is how it goes, I am a Type A personality; therefore, I am always seeking more because there is always something greater to be achieved, right? Well, in divulging this to my husband and a friend (who already know this) it reminded me of a verse in the Bible that says fire is never satisfied.
So in my self-proclaimed likeness to 'fire', I began to reminisce on how my niece, at around age 2, could not say 'happy birthday' and used the word 'hop-ala'. Mind you, the little princess would cry daily for hop-ala (meaning she wanted a candle lit to stare at for a few moments before she blew it out). Understanding this to be a fascination with fire, and not the celebration, we began calling fire 'hop-ala'.
Now, here I am...Hop-ala...the fire that is never satisfied.
Like to Inspire and Vent all in one shot. So here I am. Wishing I could travel. Wishing people would get it together. And telling it like it is! Hold on for the ride!
